Remote work in MENA: what changed in 2026

Five years after the pandemic, remote work in the region has settled into a hybrid norm: two to three days in the office for most knowledge jobs. The notable shift this year is legal. New regulations now define the right to disconnect and employer obligations for home-office equipment. For candidates, this means remote policy is a legitimate negotiation point. Ask about it early and look for companies that publish their policy on their page.
